Scale Car

Instructions

  1. Find A Car

Search for a car you want to scale and 3D model.


Include the word "SIDE" in your google search.

2. Take a screenshot

A. Press the "PrtScr" (print screen) button

B. The screen will go grey

C. Left-click and drag your mouse to take a screenshot of your car

D. Make sure your screenshot is as close to the edges of your car as possible (look at the example)

E. This will save the image to your screenshots folder and we will use it later.

3. Car Size

A. Make a google search for the same car

B. Include the word "SIZE" in your seach

4. Scaled Dimensions

A. Open the "one foot equals quarter inch calculator"

B. Enter your dimensions in the BLUE area

C. Put the dimensions in the correct locations  (they are NOT in order)

5. Create a New Document

 

6. Import and Resize Car Image

B. Change video quality to the highest possible

7. Draw Car Outline

Optional. Add More Details.

A. Add separate shapes for the windows or other features

B. Make sure the shapes DO NOT TOUCH and DO NOT SHARE LINES

8. Make 3D
